The US is a huge country, with a history that goes back tens of thousands of years! This section offers some free resources to learn more about the history of the land and people who have lived on the land that is now the United States.
Free Resources
National History Day is a nation-wide competition designed for middle and high school students. Students compete at local, state, and national levels. I'm particularly biased towards this organization, because I myself was the first place winner in my category for the 1993 Massachusetts History Day. Which meant I went to Washington DC to compete at Nationals where I, alas, did not win.
